Can Language Models Generate Code?

Language models can save up to 50% of time by using them for code generation. They generate stuff and we humans need to discriminate whether that is actually what we wanted it to do or not. But even so, it saves you a lot of typing. I think one of the reasons why these advances in AI have happened at such a fast pace over the past half year is because the labs are increasingly using coding tools to make progress faster.
