Is This a Devdase Art Form?
There is a tension between what people call uppercaste and brahminical appropriation of what was traditionally a devdase art form. Balasese herself, inseve very important features, has said that singars at the core of bakti. When you say that this was, this was an art form that belonged to the tsidemen, i think we are completely losing the plot.
