Douglas - The Anti-Judge

i ted white once called douglas the anti judge because he refused to write opinions that read like law reviews. He turned every opinion into a law review case, i've always held against frankfort ard. Sometimes he went overboard, but not like trees should have standing. But his basic argument was that in the field, in the environment, you had to give standing to those groups who were trying to protect natural resources.
