Dr. Chadda: Always look at the pictures in the same sequence because then you fall into a habit and then you make sure you're looking for the structures. I generally like to go to my lateral view first, whether there is a joint effusion or a lipohemarthrosis. And when it comes to MSK X-rays, I really want to zone in on that side of soft tissue swelling as subtle as it may be.
