What's Happening in the Brain?

How universal are these experiences and how culturally situated are they? What do we know about the science of these experiences, whether theyare mystical, religious, spiritual, h what is happening in the brain? From what we can tell yet, i think our narrow science is still at a pretty beginning level of understanding these experiences.
