The Importance of Controlling Distractions
Meditation is one way to improve this control, according to catherine. But meditating isn't always an option and doesn't come naturally to everyone. A study found that patient mortality was about 20 tisent higher when the procedure is performed on a surgeon's birthday compared with other days of the year. Even the small benign dis action for the surgeon significantly increased the patient's chance of dying.
