Fanon's National Culture - Chapter 4
Fanon wrote this book in 1961, the same year that he died from cancer. He wanted to equip all colonized people with a deeper understanding of their situation so they could more effectively unleash revolutionary violence. The point is to show how the intellectual and the artist emerge alongside the development of a national culture. Fanon: Each generation must discover its mission, fulfill it or betray it in relative obscurity.
