When you get a job offer, that's at the end of a very long, kind of arduous process. The thing that is heart breaking about women not negotiating when they have a job offer is that that is often when have the most leverage. You don't have to mediate your own negotiation y. It makes so much sense that you should not be convincing yourself of all these reasons why you should not get something. But i think that goes against like, our thoughtful nature. We don't want to show up somewhere and say, "This is what i deserve"

Don’t negotiate against yourself. It’s OK to drop the ball. Sleep. We get wisdom from women who are experts on how we work — and who have advice on how to ask for more money, achieve more by doing less, and avoid burning out.
