The Sea Devil and the Russian Admirals

In Russia success can be just as dangerous as failure. The Russian admirals deeply coveted the attention that Bauer was receiving from the Tsarist court and they ended up deciding to sabotage his intephers. They ordered Bauer to hold a demonstration where he was to use the sea devil to sink a ship. What they didn't tell him was that they had placed the ship just past a shallow mudburm. He managed to escape but the submarine was less fortunate, it flooded moments later, sank almost taking Bauer with her.
