The Importance of Diversification in Drug Trade
Diversification is incredibly important to criminal organizations, especially drug traffickers. You can ship far higher quantities through shipping containers than you can by using land vehicles or classic narco planes. It's not the most business sensible, but it is in the long term the best way to mitigate those risks of seizures. So this is where you're going to see traffickers make the decision to use a wider variety of not just routes but also modes of transportation.
