The Days Are Coming, Declares the Lord.
The Ten Commandments and then the 603 after that didn't work for Yahweh in ancient Israel. The emphasis here is that they are the ones who walked away. And so what Yahweh is going to do is bring about the creation of a new relationship with his people. But their role is changing because it's not about them being written in a code that you obey. It's about God doing something to internalize his will on the hearts of his people.
