How to Axise Sounds Without Pre-Pitch Effects
Pitch it up first before you do the aliasing. It makes all the difference. Let's just try the whole thing again. Luckily we've got all of those sounds recorded without the pitch transposition, re-rendering, transfer and then popping down to octaves. These were just the sounds transferred to the assimilator at the original pitch so that then we can hear what happens if we just try aliasing them without this pre-pitch effect. Here we go.
