Are We All Equal?
Dr. Peter Singer has argued that it's okay to kill babies if they are defective. He says we're all equal in many respects, but have higher powers than other animals. This isn't a very pro human philosophy and is actually an anti-human one according to the author. The Catholic tradition seems to have held out that we're different in kind not just degree.
