Edison's First Phonograph Recording

The first phonograph records were made in tin foil. They would wrap it around the cylinder and it literally looks like crumpled tin foil that would you would use to cover a pie. It's cooler than a set covered tube, a tin foil covered tube. But um did you write that joke down Tom? These were the first recordings.
