Introduction

Rudolf steiner is a German philosopher and author. His lectures on education are called ha, modern art of education. In this lecture he shows how writing can arise from the artistic element of painting and drawing. He argues that children must be taught to write before they learn to read. This is because one's whole being is more active in writing than when reading.
