The Forest Service in the State of Alaska
In the introductory chapter, i believe its pages ten and 11, you see how the forest service is divided into regional focuses. And a lot of it is because of where the distributions of the national forests are. If this were a truly mitl plan from the geco type of situation, it would not have been divided this way. So if you'r a region has a two, three, four, whatever, states, then based on where the forests are in your region, you divide them into districts for geographic proximity mostly.
