The Calvinistic View of the Israelites
The Israelites in general have grown calloused and hardened to the truth of God because they have not listened and learned from the father. And now they're blinded from seeing who the Messiah is because of that rebellion, not because of a natural condition from birth. This is the reason they cannot believe because they have been given the spirit of stupor eyes. It cannot see ears. It cannot hear this very day. In other words, God is judicially blinding them in the rebellion,. Cutting them off from the truth and taking it to the Gentiles to accomplish his purpose of redemption for the world.
