Where do gerbils come from? Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Persia, Iraq, Iran. We should have checked this first. So it's a bit like a mouse, but cuter, a bit bigger. They've got a fairly long tail. And they tend to gnaw on things. There's a verb that people won't know to gnaw. What's G-N-A-W? Yeah, you don't pronounce the G. And it's pronounced gnaw.
