How to Listen to Your Audience
I always start by understanding what needs to be true for a company so that I can stay focused on what is actually going to drive it forward. Once I understand what reality I need to help create as a marketer, the rest just unfurls like a ribbon. And then knowing that you're really listening ends up looking like how much truth can I get from the widest set of people that matter? How can I make sure that I am not being biased? The simplest formula is talk to as many people as I can in 10 minute increments to be extremely efficient.
