Plural Quadratic Funding: A Natural Approach to Broad Support
The goal is to get broad support and authentic support, right? And QF does a great job thinking about authenticity. But I think many of us would want breadth to be defined in terms of not just people, but not reinforcing existing social divisions,. It's definitely possible that you could get some very specific pre-existing group to be enthusiastic for something that actually reinforces those divisions. There's something called plural funding, which is an extension of quadratic funding; we'll talk about it next.
