The War in Ukraine, Voluntary Volunteers in Crimea
I wanted to capture that sense of absurdity, of disbelief, of shock. I also wanted to talk to people who experienced ow lossn horror, n violence. People who were made internal refugees, people who rose to the occasion in different ways. And so that the themes, like i said, one was sort of capturing what happens when that switch gets flipped really fast and a society suddenly finds itself at war. But but the second part of that is the way that eucranians responded,. found really captivatingand really importantt the degree to which people displayed a real sense of solidarity and purpose.
