Film School - Lighting a Documentary?

Most of the Verity documentaries that I shot, yeah, I didn't have lights. You just worked with available light. For me, by doing something several times, you build up confidence if it works out. And one cinematographer said: "You're not going to do all this work without a clue about what you're doing" It's important to say 'I can go in and illuminate this set in a way that most people will probably be happy with'
