The Importance of Updates in Kotlin

The latest JDK we shipped in giraffe. There's a small, I think, regression and for certain projects, you get an exception at Gradle sync time that you're running out of code cache. That doesn't sound like a good work around. Well, I know that the Android X folks already did that for their projects. So that's your investigation for today. No, no, I already found the fixes upstream, but they're from JDK21. So someone needs to backport the fixes. Yeah, never a dull moment on the platform team. We're grumpy. What did we forget to ask? I assume there's a lot of stuff we could still talk
