Autistic People Have a Hard Time Recognizing Patterns

Autistic people have a hard time recognizing patterns. It helps them to think really differently about puzzles like this nine dot puzzle. The part of our brain that helps with patterns in our past keeps us safe, helps us to predict and just be very mindful. But it's also making it challenging when we encounter something that looks familiar. We do the same thing over and over and that will never lead us to new solutions.
