The a i was trained on 17 hundred known designer drugs. It then learnt to use the drug's spectrometry data to predict its original design. And is it any good at it? Yes and no. Given some tandem mass Spectrometry data for a drug it hadn't seen before, it can predict the molecular structure about 51% of the time. But if it did tenges s of what the molecular structure would be, then the right answer was in there about 86%. That could still be really useful to help a human then go in and confirm what the right answer is.
