The Friction Between Humanity and Non-Human Intelligence

I would hope that we could begin by solving some of the big challenges that we have. But chief among them would be putting down these weapons that could annihilate us all. Can we wake up from that kind of irrational type of behavior? I don't know. And then I'm also curious what your take is, as we've talked about this before, on the degree to which there might be some others that don't want this to happen.
