Don't Fight the Fed
Don't fight the Fed. That was one of the first things that was pounded in my head and stock picking stock analysis 101 don't fight theFed. And most of the time that actually fits together, right? You have a sense of what the Fed is doing. The market is sort of interpreting that and anticipating that in a fairly constructive way. This is one of those weird times where those two things are actually in disagreement. It tells me to be more defensive, be more cautious, certainly leaning away from risk in general.
