How Much Is Going to the Football Coaches?

College sports generate about $13 billion a year, nearly as much as the NFL. Aside from room and board and some academic scholarships, college athletes receive no compensation. Back in 1985, football coaches were earning slightly less on average than the college presidents. Now they earn about six times as much.
