The Ethicists Are the First to Go

Microsoft fired all its ethicists who are working on AI stuff. I think that's actually very damaging to the way we think about employing these technologies. The power of the car is not something that anyone established individually. It was a tendency unleashed. And there's a certain point at which that tendency is completely unleashed. There's no calling it back.
