Investing in a First-Home Owner's Market

There's not that owner-rocker period, I'm looking for where the four-sale sign goes up the front is people queuing up to look at it. New really suits typically a first-home owner market and non-residents who are all they can buy. In our view, if you're investing, you're better served by not buying brand new. The ones that were on the main roads underperformed by a couple of percent compound as compared to the side streets. But some of the better developments had actually done 2.38% compound growth over a period of time.
