The Modernization of Parliament
I think the problem with parliament is these late nights, which means you effectively miss out on putting your children to bed, reading them a bedtime story. And my children feel very frustrated about the fact that they don't really see me properly half the week - even though as a London MP, it's easier for me than being an Northern MP. I just think if we were a bit more forward-looking and you could vote from home or make some provisions, life would be a lot easier. We should modernize parliament and at least not having to physically be there to vote,. It's also about people who are very sick sometimes, and they're still coming in because a voter's important
