Is There a Religious Aspect to Eastern Philosophy?

When a philosophy is based in religion, it gives it both an epistemological and metaphysical and ontological basis. That's really, really strong and gives you a really clear perception of the world. If it's based on religion, that some analytic philosophy really doesn't have as strong of. All these Eastern philosophies that we're looking at are very old. Buddhism will be the most recent of them in terms of development,. which I want to say was around 600 BC. But Daoism, 2500 years ago, Confucianism about the same time as Daoism - Hinduism goes back possibly 10,000 years.
