The Impact of Cruise Ships on Tourism in Amsterdam
Amsterdam is moving huge cruise ships away from the city center in Amsterdam. Singapore also has taken steps to keep cruise ships outside of the city centre itself. As people become richer in many countries they want to travel and more tourists will go to those tourist hotspots like Paris or Amsterdam. India's neighbor Bhutan famously imposes a foreign tourist tax I believe it's something like $200 a day if you're going to go there.
