There was more hatred in the Second World War, I think. And there is more hatred there because of the nature of the regime they're fighting. But very rarely in any war, there are not many soldiers that respond with murder or torture and the rest of it. In the end, when it all comes down to it, it's mostly the blokes you with, your mates, the men who you went through training with who faced death with you. That's what helps you to get through it.
