The Irony of the Rhetoric of the Book of Revelation
The book revelation is not read much by people. Most people who read it either do the jigsaw puzzle thing because somebody's told them how to assemble the pieces. The irony is that these people who don't read the book, many Christians in our country today take the ideology of the book and run with it: It's all about dominating those who are weaker than you. In the ancient world, that wasn't the problem at all.
