The scientific method itself is arguably a subset of philosophy. You can't use science to justify the scientific method, I don't think. That's circular logic. Mm hmm. So in your book, you talk a lot about the different philosophical approaches that Einstein and Dirac had. With hindsight, or just a few decades, but still a lot of hindsight, which of their philosophies do you think has been more fruitful? And if you wouldn't mind maybe describing what that philosophy is for the real. Well, Einstein came in the latter part of his career. He came to believe that the royal road to discovering fundamental laws of nature was through mathematics. There's can be no denying that
