How Much Input Do You Get From Foley?
In the United States things are queued ahead of time and when I was supervising Foley I would queue it. There's really not much director interference with what the Foley artist is doing but there will be communication via the supervising sound editor or the supervising Foley editor about what the wishlist is from the director if the director cares. Julianne Netta in France who does a lot of European films is the main person to do a lot of work in Europe. He's completely trusted on his own. His father did all the Jacques Tatisse films. So Julianne doesn't work with Qless at all. He doesn't like technology, he doesn't like anything ahead of time.
