Temptation is about persuasion. Convincing you that going against God's way is better. The enemy wants to tempt you with the prospect that you will be happier if you do it your way and not God's way. Many of you have been in this pursuit of happiness and you've never found it. If you shoot for faithfulness for purpose, for meaning, you might get happiness as well.
