Empress represents the aspect of nurturing, or choosing what energy we kind of attach ourselves to. She's a full unconditional service to the life of their creation, which is usually represented by the baby. Motherly love is its own thing and we all have motherly love within us. But that different component of love and how it's different than romantic love also shows up in this card.
