Birthwait - A Biometric of Adversity

Birthweigt is the first biometric that it evolves into wide use as a way of reflecting on the prenadal period. I focus on about forty to 50 years of scientific debates about how to interpret the racialized birthweight gap between black americans and white Americans. Later research, i found that there're so many equological factors in determining birthweight that it's not a good variable for comparing it across populations. And that is how we get to the focus to day, not on birthweight, but on this mechanism called epigenetics.
