The Legend of Laurel Grove
Clark Woodruff was born August 1791 in Litchville County, Connecticut. He moved to Boo-Yoo at age 19 and began studying law with David Bradford. In 1817 he married Sarah Matilda who died of Yellow Fever the same year her brother also passed away. After she died, Woodruff turned his attention to practicing law and less on farming. By this time Woodruff had changed the spelling of his name to Woodruff. What's up with these names? I want to say it's roofing not roughing.
