Sailing is the most disenchanting and enslaving thing you can probably have in your life. The main mistake is to buy the boat bigger than you can maintain. There are British academies of sailing like RYA or Royal Yakht Academy. In Spain there is a bit different system which is called PER, Patron de Marcathione de Recrejo. So it's a first step to go with learning sailing and having certificates.
