I was just going to say I'll be very honest and confessed that I didn't actually read this chapter of your book. But does this imply that there's a separate part of the brain that is keeping track of the frequency of oscillations to say oh yes this is a coherent thing? That's an interesting question. It might be I think the thalamus is often regarded as a relay station for that it takes in signals from different parts of the brain and it might do some of the binding of what's happening elsewhere.
