The Importance of Ultrasound for IDJ Insertion

In the US guidelines, they do say, and this used to be the primary recommendation in the Shake and Bendy-Mook to avoid femoral. They've switched that in favor of what they call a more positive recommendation in favor of the subclavian. In the French guideline, interestingly, they say the IDJ is probably not preferred over femoral but with strong consensus recommendation.
