The Relationship Is Not About Dominance and Control, It's About Relationships
After my divorce, it was so frustrating because i couldn't wrap my head around this idea that there was an intention to destroy me in as many ways possible. I became the absolute target. And and this lasted for over seven years. This is somebody whose mind works in such a way that if you need me and you depend on me, that's the reason that you'll stay with me. They have no concept of being in a reciprocal, mutually satisfying relationship. No relationships are about dominance and control. To wrap this up, if you know someone who has a high conflict personality, i encourage you to not go back at them.
