In parts one and two, Catherine fought for security in the French royal court, using all the tools available to her: negotiation, edicts ... and a little murder. But as Catherine’s reign nears its end, her legacy is in danger. She only has three sons left, and none of them are predicted to survive. And if they die, her line of power will end.
