Crew Is the Most Important Thing We Do

Crew ironically, is the most important thing that we do. The kids work together in groups f 12 or 13 with their crew leader and an instructor. And they have shared experiences. They are challenged, stretched out of their comfort zones. But through focusing on ourr character traits and our habits of work and learning, the kids get an idea of we're stronger together. It gives them an idea of equity. Some kids strugglin. Struggle at walking up a mountain. Some kids don't. So when they come back into school after that first week, we don't have any issues with friendship groups or kids not liking the transition from primary to secondary. We've dealt with ar in that first
