Doing Your Duty as an Author Is Not Cowardice
Acts of courage relate to your ability to do your duty. Ryan holiday gives the example of he doesn't like roller coasters. That's not cowardice, because he doesn't have to do that. If an act of moral cowardi for example curtails you from doing your duty as a member of society or neighbor. And so courage demands a cost. It is not e know that oftentimes people will throw around little jak bs or little dares when you decline to do something that's just pointless and dumb.
