Are Honors Classes the Answer to More Inclusion?
In Florida, there were protests as Governor Ron DeSantis hinted that he might drop AP classes altogether after rejecting a pilot course in African American studies. "What we need is to give our students more opportunities, not less choices," says resident teacher Natasha Shaven. Go ahead and signate honors classes under the University of California system, eliminating any competitive advantage to students who have taken honors classes while having in the college admission process.
