The Advantages of Labeling Messages
I almost think it's better to think of it less as one big mailbox and more like a soup, right? Just all of the messages, whether you sent them or they came to you are just in a soup on your Gmail account. And when you say archive in Gmail, it just takes the inbox tag off and the message disappears from your inbox. But it really hasn't gone anywhere. It's just in the soup and no longer has the inbox label. I am a huge fan of that.
